About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Taryn, and I’m a biology student at UVic. 

I’m originally from Calgary, Alberta, but I have loved living in Victoria over the course of my degree. I’m still figuring out exactly which direction within biology I want to go, which is part of what makes the degree interesting.

Outside of class, most of my free time goes into cooking, baking, and the outdoors. I love baking and cooking for the people in my life. I also got to travel to Italy and Spain earlier this year, and the food was a definite highlight.

I’m looking forward to this course, especially getting more intentional about how I use social media and thinking about my own digital identity going forward.
